To support the residents of Bethshan Gardens and senior citizens in Cloverdale/Surrey 
to optimize their quality of life.

Message from the Chair of the Board

The Cloverdale Senior Citizen’s Housing Society (CSCHS) Board of Directors is a visionary, dynamic and caring group of people dedicated to providing high quality seniors services and housing. 

Bethshan Gardens Supportive Housing development, located in Cloverdale BC, is owned and operated by the non-profit CSCHS. The 71 unit building opened in 2009 and replaced 16 units of seniors housing that were on the same land.  

This board of directors builds on the vital work of the founders who formed the Society in 1956 in response to real community need. They continue to anticipate the needs of seniors and respond.

Our History

The ceremonial ribbon was cut by by: Jane Harding, President of the Cloverdale Senior Citizen’s Housing Society; Judy Cook, director of the Cloverdale Senior Citizen’s Housing Society; Dora Rogers, a tenant, Dianne Nichols, treasurer of the Cloverdale Senior’s Housing Society, Surrey Mayor Diane Watts, MP Russ Heibert, project manager Terry Alleyn and MLA Kevin Falcon.

Bethshan Gardens, Surrey's newest independent living residence, was officially open on January 31, 2009.

The standing-room-only crowds were offered tours of the brand new complex and celebrated over cake and conversation.
“We are being kept very busy with interested people who want to explore life at Bethshan Gardens. Our suites are filling up quickly. We expect that very soon, the only way to secure a space in Bethshan Gardens will be to put your name on a waiting list,” says Jane Harding, Board Chair of the Cloverdale Senior’s Housing Society. The Cloverdale Senior’s Housing Society owns and operates Bethshan Gardens.
