“I am very proud to announce the grand opening of Bethshan Gardens, Surrey’s Newest Seniors Supportive Living Residence,” says Jane Harding, President of the Cloverdale Senior Citizen’s Housing Society, which owns and operates Bethshan Gardens. “Bethshan Gardens provides 72 units for seniors looking for a supportive community environment, where they can maintain their independence, but have assistance where needed.”

Located at 17528 59th Avenue in Cloverdale, Bethshan Gardens is situated within walking distance of the Cloverdale Senior’s Centre, and is close to shopping, medical services and amenities. The suites at Bethshan Gardens all include balconies and a kitchen area. Two meals a day, phone, cable, internet, light housekeeping and laundry, scooter charging/parking and 24 hour emergency call and security are included with the rent. On site, tenants will find a Great Room complete with 52-inch plasma TV. The shelves are stocked with books, DVDs and magazines. There is a cozy dining area, and space for a host of planned activities.

Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts, MLA Kevin Falcon, MP Russ Heibert were all on hand for Bethshan Garden’s Grand Opening Celebration on January 31. Standing room only crowds were offered tours of the brand new complex and celebrated with the seniors over cake and conversation. “I are being kept very busy with interested people who want to explore life at Bethshan Gardens. Our suites are filling up quickly. We expect that very soon, the only way to secure a space in Bethshan Gardens will be to put your name on a waiting list,” says Jane Harding.

Bethshan Gardens is owned and operated by the Cloverdale Senior Citizen’s Housing Society, a non-profit organization that has been providing housing to seniors for over 50 years.
